Vedic Astrology

I began studying Western Astrology in 1973 at the age of 13.  In the same year, I told  my mother, “Maman, I am never getting married and I am never going to have children.  All of your other children will be married and have children except for me.  I have a different reason for being here.  At 17 when two Western Astrologers told me I would be married with children by the time I was 28, I emphatically said, “No, I’m not!”
I stopped studying and became a Make-up artist for the fashion industry.

In 1989 during my Saturn Return, I was 29 and again felt guided to become an Astrologer. I looked in the phone book and there was a Vedic School of Astrology. I called the number and a little old lady answered.
I asked her “How much are your classes?”  She said, “Three dollars.”
She did my chart and the very first thing she said, was “Marriage isn’t important to you like it is to a lot of women and I don’t see you getting married!” I said, “That’s right!” and that is why I am a Vedic Astrologer!

I started reading in 1990 and from the beginning, I have always said, “When I look at a chart, I can’t explain it but I feel like the planets are speaking to me. They are telling me how the person I am reading for is using their energy.” One day, I read in an article about Vedic Astrology that the ancient Rishis believed the very best Astrologers felt as
though the planets were speaking to them.

I am always amazed at the accuracy of  Vedic Astrology. You came to this Earth with a plan and Vedic Astrology helps you understand your journey in a very dynamic way. In Vedic Astrology, all of your signs are
23 degrees before whatever you are in the Western system.
For example, Leo is August 15th – September 15th and so on.

Vedic Astrology utilizes what are called “Dasha Periods” which are dated planetary periods that are literally an itinerary of your life. As these dates change they activate the different planets and the houses they rule.  Dasha periods allow me to see the best time for important life decisions such as starting a business, buying a home,
getting married or having a child.
